Other Resources

Research tools, including dictionary, atlas, and local and country research guides, help users compile the data and information they need to complete their assignments and background research.  The program features interactive timelines that can be created or already featured.  Students have the ability to cite directly from the program.  Also, thousands of nonfiction and classic ebooks available unlimited access. 

 

You can search for book titles based on authors, topics, or titles of books. Just type what you want to search for in the blank field above and click Go. You will then be able to sort your search results, select book titles to add to your AR BookBag, print a list of your search results, or start a new search.

Accelerated Reader is the program adopted by the Blue River Valley Jr. Sr. High English Department to track reading accountability.  Students read at or above their reading/grade level.  Students are required to earn 20 points each nine weeks for his/her English grade.  Extra points can be obtained by reading off of the College Bound Reading List or The Newberry Award Winner List.  See an English Department member for more details.
